Bow Hunting on our Archery Only Property (Meals and Lodging Included!)
Our Bow Only area consist of 3,600 acres and has been managed for quality for many years. 3,000 acres of this property is a contiguous tract and is producing some awesome bucks. 130 inch minimum and NO GUN hunting makes this area like no other in the state. This area has produced 190 class and larger bucks every year. Our bow hunts are 5 days of fully guided hunts with meals and lodging included. Our guests stay in our camp which has satellite TV, a shower and all the comforts of home. All linens and towels are included. Our cook is state certified and will knock your socks off with her southern cooking. Our bow camp is a smoke free facility. NO SMOKING ALLOWED. If you smoke please do not book a hunt with us. We will not allow anyone to smoke on any part of our property! For years we have tried to work with both smokers and nonsmokers. This past season we again had hunters who lied to us as we found cigarette butts in and around some of our best stands. We also had problems with smokers not being considerate to our nonsmoking guests by smoking near their hunting clothing. We regret that a few bad apples has forced us to eliminate smoking completely.

We have approximately 80 portable tree stands on our property, however if you would like to bring your favorite climbing stand, it could give you a little more flexibility and comfort. Your guide will direct you to the proper stand locations for that day's weather & wind conditions. We have many options available for every kind of condition or hunting style. Combo Archery/Muzzle Loader Hunting (Meals and Lodging Included)
Our combo hunt includes 3 full days of bow hunting on our Bow Only property and 2 full days of Muzzle loader hunting on our firearms property. Our guest for this hunt will stay at our camp and meals and lodging are included in the price.

Muzzle Loader Hunting (Meals and Lodging Not Included) (New Rules for 2008)
Our muzzle loader hunts for 2008 will be very limited. We will have a 2 day hunt in October and a 4 day hunt in December. These hunts will take place on our Firearms area. This area is also managed for quality. The 130 rule applies there as well. MEALS AND LODGING ARE NOT INCLUDED! Our hunters usually stay in Leitchfield and great food is within walking distance.
Our Muzzle Loader hunts for 2008 will be guide assisted. Hunters will have access to 1 farm that has at lease one stand pre-hung per hunter. Additional stands may be brought and placed by hunters (Climber Suggested). Hunters may arrive 1 day prior to their hunt to do some light scouting if they wish.

Rifle Hunting (Meals and Lodging Not Included) (New Rules for 2008)
Our fire arms hunts for 2008 will be guide assisted. Hunters will have access to 1 farm that has at least one pre-hung lock-on or ladder stand per hunter. Additional stands may be brought and placed by hunters (Climber Suggested). Hunters may arrive 1 day prior to their hunt to do some light scouting if they wish. Our rifle hunts are 3 day hunts and are conducted on our Firearms area. Our firearms areas are privately owned farms from 300 to 600 acres. We only hunt 2 weekends and Mondays and these farms are not hunted during the week to minimize hunting pressure. Our hunters stay at a local hotel and are responsible for their own lodging, meals and transportation. We provide an aerial photo or topographical of the area as well as direction maps to each the property. We meet our rifle hunters and give them a tour of the North Carolina hunter with a big Kentucky 8 point buck deer! property and stand locations. We will assist in all deer recoveries. You will be responsible for deer processing but will have access to our facilities for this process. Our hunters usually stay in Leitchfield and great food is within walking distance. There is a 130 inch minimum on bucks harvested and no does are permitted.

IMPORTANT:
We will do our best to give you a quality hunting experience. Please remember that we are not selling you a deer. We cannot be responsible for bad weather, slow deer movement, moon cycles or lack of hunting skills. Keep this in mind when booking a hunt. If you are the type of hunter who hunts a couple of hours in the morning and evening, do not expect to be successful here. Our deer often move through the middle of the day and to be successful our hunters need to be willing to give exceptional effort. Please remember that when hunting mature whitetails, it takes only one mistake to eliminate your chance at a trophy deer. Many hunters fail to maximize their hunting opportunity by paying attention to detail. Simple things like a buckle hitting the stand, loud velcro, snap buckles, noisy drink bottles and more can give notice to a mature buck that a hunter is in the area. He will avoid you and you will never know he was even there. Mature bucks do not dumb their way through the woods. Even during the rut, mature bucks make few if any mistakes, each step they make is careful and always to their advantage. Make sure you make an effort to eliminate as many negative factors and you can before you arrive. We want you to be successful and will try to do everything we can to make this happen. We have NO TROPHY FEES! We do have a penalty fee of $500 for bucks harvested under the 130 inch minimum. Does may not be harvested. This may be subject to change depending upon our Buck to Doe ratio at the time.
