Turkey Hunting has been a passion
for the guides here at Buck Country Outfitters of Kentucky for many
years. We absolutely love the sport and enjoy sharing our camp with
our turkey hunting clients. We have enjoyed an abundant hatch in
2008 making for a large group of 2 year old birds and some action
packed hunts. We enjoyed a 90% and higher shot opportunity for many
years. We have had a very good rebook rate so the spaces are very
limited for next year. We would like to offer our most sincere
thanks to the guys who hunted with us this year. We had the pleasure
to be a part of some memorable hunts including first time harvests
for many. Thank you.
All our turkey hunts are unguided hunts.
Each hunter will be provided with a detailed map of the property
along with a tour to give them a good layout of the farm. We
have hunted these areas for many years and can provide keen insight
as to patterns and terrain. You will be able to scout and
roost birds on your first evening if you arrive early enough.
Our guests stay in camp with us and will be awakened to coffee and
breakfast to get the day started of right.

Do-It-Yourself Turkey Hunt
Our DIY hunters are designed for the budget
minded and experienced turkey hunters. Hunters will be given
an aerial photo of the property and will be allowed one day to
scout. Primitive camping is available or hunters can stay at a
local hotel.
NOTE: The ice
storm of 2009 has changed the layout of our wood land greatly,
making the turkey hunting much more challenging last year. It
has changed our landscape for many years to come. The birds
will be much more challenging but it has also created much more
nesting habitat make for even higher numbers of available birds to
hunt. Those of you who have hunted our property before may
find that hard to believe since most who visit with us tell us they
have never seen so many turkeys anywhere.
